Today we surprised our first Weekly £2000 Draw winner of April, and this time it was Business Academy member, Anne Beagan, from The Health & Wellbeing Consultancy.

Anne is the owner and founder of The Health & Wellbeing Consultancy based in Bury. The Health and Wellbeing Consultancy works with a variety of organisations, some of which work with young people in the education sector, charities, local authorities, and private sector corporate organisations. They provide training courses (some accredited, some bespoke), psychoeducation material, wellbeing programmes, mental health policies, and consultancy for organisations. 

Anne joined the Business Academy in September 2023 as part of the 2023/2024 intake. The Business Academy is an initiative that supports local businesses within their first few years of trading. Academy members receive invaluable access to local business mentors, training to support with growth and development, plus support and encouragement from a fantastic network of likeminded individuals. The Business Academy is funded through the tickets from the Weekly £2,000 Draw - which means, for every ticket sold, the proceeds go to support new businesses within our borough of Bury.

As Anne works with a large number of businesses we were unable to determine her location and surprise her in the normal Weekly £2,000 Draw manner - however, her receiving an extra special phone call to tell her the fantastic news was a great surprise! 

Anne was over the moon to learn that she was this week's Weekly £2,000 Draw winner. She has supported the draw since October 2023 and said that she will be spending some of the money on a little break with her family, and will be investing the rest into her business.
