Today’s Weekly £2,000 Draw has put a huge smile on the face of Andy Weekes, our latest winner, holding ticket number 22322.

Andy has been part of the Weekly £2,000 Draw since May 2021, and his loyalty has well and truly paid off! Andy works for Bury Council, where he is currently a Repairs Manager, a role he’s held for the last 4 years. His journey with the council is an impressive one – Andy has dedicated 29 years of service, starting out as a joiner and working his way through the organisation.

When we spoke to Andy, he shared how much he genuinely loves his job, adding that Bury Council is a great place to work. We’re also proud to highlight the fantastic support we receive from Bury Council, who are an Accredited Supporter of the Weekly £2,000 Draw.

Bury Council has a large number of tickets in the draw, with many employees choosing to take part via payroll, making it easy for staff to support the local community while also being in with a chance of winning £2,000 every single week. As for the winnings? Andy already has something special planned. He and his wife, Jolene, have a holiday booked to Portugal in May, and the £2,000 win will be going straight towards making that trip even more memorable.
