We’re thrilled to announce that the latest winner of the Weekly £2000 Draw is is Eloise Longden, a talented cake decorator and confectioner at the much-loved local institution, Slattery.

Eloise’s winning ticket number was 22725 and she’s been part of the draw since January 2022. She’s worked at Slattery for the past four years, using her creative flair to craft delicious and beautifully decorated treats that customers adore.

For those who haven’t had the pleasure of visiting, Slattery is a true gem in Whitefield. A family-run business famous for its indulgent patisserie, handmade chocolates, bespoke celebration cakes, cookery school and award-winning Masons dining room. It’s a paradise for anyone with a sweet tooth and a proud part of the Bury business community.

Even better, Slattery is an official supporter of the Weekly £2000 Draw, holding at least five tickets and showing their commitment to giving back and supporting the next generation of local entrepreneurs.

When we surprised Eloise with the exciting news, she was completely thrilled and a little speechless! She explained that she joined the draw because she wanted to support local start-up businesses, while also enjoying the chance to win… and this week, her number came up!

Eloise plans to put her winnings to good use by booking a well-earned holiday for herself and her two children, Ollie (19) and Lana (17), creating special memories they’ll treasure forever.
