All smiles for high school worker

Please join us in congratulating Gwyneth Roberts who has won this week’s Weekly £2,000 Draw with ticket number 23496.

Today we surprised our third Weekly £2000 Draw winner of March 2024, and this time it was Gwyneth Roberts from Bury Church of England High School.

Gwyneth is the Medical Support Officer at Bury Church of England High School, where she has worked for the just over 30 years. Gwyneth started the school as a Support Worker, helping children in their lessons. Gwyneth has had various roles within her 30 years but the last 5 years has been as the Medical Support Officer. She has held a ticket to the Weekly £2000 Draw since May 2023.

Bury Church of England High School, with its long and distinguished history, is proud to be a part of the Bishop Fraser Trust family of Schools. Their commitment to Christian values and their motto ‘Let your light shine’ guides them in providing a safe and caring community where every individual can flourish.

They believe in equipping their students with the tools they need to succeed in an ever-changing world, fostering excellent relationships between staff, students, parents, and carers. With a broad and balanced curriculum, strong academic success, and a focus on character development, they aim to empower our students to shine their light and pursue further study, apprenticeships, or employment.

When we surprised Gwyneth with the news that she was this week’s Weekly £2000 Draw winner she was delighted and said that her winnings will go towards paying off her mortgage. This will help her be mortgage free by Christmas – how fantastic!

Congratulations to Gwyneth, and thank you to the staff team at Bury Church of England High School for supporting us with her surprise.
