There are some phone calls you never forget… and for Adele Luke, this week’s call from the Weekly £2000 Draw team will definitely be one she never forgets!

Adele, owner of Adele’s Acrylic Nails, is this week’s lucky £2000 winner with Ticket 21293.

When we called, Adele was sat in a hair salon. Foils in. Processing. Completely unsuspecting. Adele thought it was just another normal day. Seconds later, she was over the moon, glowing even brighter than the highlights developing under those foils.

Adele joined the Weekly £2000 Draw back in April 2019, after a lovely chat with Debi about how the draw works and how it supports local start-up businesses. Like so many of our ticket holders, she signed up to be part of something bigger. This week, it paid her back in the best possible way. Adele was delighted to hear the news that she was this week’s Weekly £2000 Draw winner.

When we asked Adele what she’d do with the winnings, she didn’t hesitate. She’s already heading to Jamaica with her partner in May. But here’s the twist… Earlier today she’d been chatting about booking another holiday for September.

Safe to say, that September trip is now officially upgraded. Flights, hotel, cocktails with umbrellas, the works.

It’s amazing how often our winners choose to invest their prize into unforgettable memories. Holidays, once-in-a-lifetime trips and fantastic getaways. The Weekly £2000 Draw has a habit of turning “maybe one day” into “we’ve just booked it”.
