Class of 2024 – The Soulful Midwife

Jas Lodge, ‘The Soulful Midwife’, is a registered midwife and 3 Step Rewind Practitioner with many years’ experience caring for women and families during their pregnancy, birth and postnatal period.
The Soulful Midwife provides a family centred, compassionate and conscientious approach to supporting and educating women through their pregnancy and postnatal period through individualised one to one consultations.
Jas feels strongly that all women would benefit from a high level of knowledge and understanding to make truly informed decisions and will support you on your journey to experiencing the pregnancy and birth that works for you.
Having an appreciation of your anatomy and physiology, assessing the benefits and drawbacks of interventions and truly digesting the implications of your decisions can help you to feel more empowered as you embark on your pathway to parenthood.
At her core, Jas is passionate about nutrition and mobility as a means of achieving a healthy lifestyle, ultimately resulting in healthy pregnancies, natural births and positive postnatal periods.  As a Midwife, Jas is there to be your advocate, to support your decisions and help you to explore your options, in a way that works for you.

Class of 2024 – Fraemar Dog Boarding

Here at Fraemar Dog Boarding we are passionate about the care of your dogs. We understand the importance of choosing the right kennels for you and your dog. As dog owners ourselves, we agree there are so many factors to consider when deciding where you feel your dog will receive the best care and attention. 

We offer 10 large indoor kennels, 5 of which are big enough to fit up to 3 family pets. 

Outside we have numerous sized runs, all designed for different purposes. Small areas for feeding, grassed areas for playing, long areas for running. At Fraemar we do encourage socialisation in the outdoor areas, something which we discuss upon booking. We also respect if you wish for your dog’s not to be mixed. 

The exercise paddock is just a short walk away from the outdoor runs meaning we can head over for some fun a couple of times a day.

Class of 2024 – Cosalea Walshaw

By day, our bright, spacious cafés offer a social hub right at the heart of the community.

Our menu offers hearty breakfasts, nutritious lunches and sumptuous homemade cakes, alongside our extensive drinks range including Segafredo coffees and refreshing Coca Cola brand soft drinks.

By night, our Walshaw Rd venue offers a high-end café bar with cocktails and an exciting menu of beers, wines and an evening menu of small plates & sharing platters.  The Vault offers the perfect space for your private functions and parties.

In a hurry? With our grab & go option you can enjoy our menu anywhere. Simply place your order & take it away with you.

Class of 2024 – Build 2gether

A space where Lego enthusiasts can come together to build and play.

The venue will house the online Lego part store, a Café to build sets, Private hire room for Lego themed parties (The party room will double up as a meeting room throughout the week for Neuro divergent groups / Mental Health groups / Lego Fan groups and Community groups.

Home to The Drop Off Cafe & The Drop Off Works Co-Working Space.

We are the largest and most versatile events venue in Edenfield.

Dating back to the 1860s, this former cooperative warehouse has been meticulously and affectionately restored, preserving its significance as a symbol of Lancashire’s industrial heritage. The Grand Hall boasts a top-quality in-house lighting and sound system, serving as an elegant backdrop that can be customized to your theme. Additionally, we offer a fully licensed bar for your guests’ enjoyment. The catering, provided features a diverse multi-cuisine menu that is sure to impress your guests’ taste buds.

Evadare: Dare to Escape

Opening in 2025 Evadare will bring a fun and challenging experience for all manner of customers from seasoned escape room enthusiasts to those who have never done escape rooms, fun family days out to business meetings and team building.

Our three rooms

  • Fairground – You find yourself in an abandoned fairground, where did everybody go? When you try to leave you find yourself trapped. You have an hour to find out why and what is that strange voice calling for help in the distance, who could it be?
  • Deception – Trust no one.
  • Third room pending

Class of 2024 – So Retro Events

So Retro Vintage Fairs take place across the Northwest, with regular events held in Ramsbottom and Urmston.

At our fairs you can enjoy a fabulous day filled with nostalgia and vintage treasures. Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of classic collectibles, retro fashion and unique finds. With a wide variety of stalls, you’ll discover everything from vintage clothing and accessories to vinyl records, retro home decor, and much more. We often have vintage singers performing live to entertain shoppers, as well as a selection of hot and cold drinks, delicious, sweet treats and a bar for an alcoholic beverage where we can!

Whether you’re a seasoned vintage lover or just curious to experience the magic of the past, the So Retro Vintage Fair is the perfect place to celebrate all things retro.
