Made In Bury

Businesses Supported by Loans

Business Name: Wayne Oliver Plumbing & Heating – Loan Amount: £2,000

On the 28th November 2024 the Made in Bury Business Loans Panel met for the 2nd time at Headline Partner Connect Comms Office.

The panel this time was Oscar Majid from Connect Comms, Liam Gately from Platinum Care, Lee Sugden from Horsfield & Smith Chartered Accountants and Luke Millington from Stay N Play Doggy Daycare.

The £2,000 interest-free loan was granted to Wayne Lee Oliver from Wayne Oliver Plumbing & Heating by the panel and has been used to invest in a press fit machine to help with bigger commercial jobs as most don’t allow soldering due to risk of fire and help with cutting the amount of time on residential work as after soldering, under floors regulations state you have to wait 2 hours to make sure there is no chance of fire starting. This new equipment saves Wayne time and means he can book more jobs in a day.

Wayne commented; “Thanks to Made in Bury for the interest free loan they gave me. I used the money to buy new equipment to help grow my business and can now do bigger jobs at half the time. It’s great to know that through Made in Bury new start up businesses can get the help they need. Thanks again to Debi, Phil and the loan panel for all your help.”
