We’re delighted to announce that this week’s lucky winner of the Weekly £2000 Draw is Ian Varrechia with ticket number 21307.

Ian is no stranger to winning. He’s been a ticket holder since March 2019, and this is his second time being surprised with a Winning Wednesday prize, having previously won back in November 2021.

Ian works as a plasterer for Bury Council, in what was formerly known as Six Town Housing, and has been with the organisation for an impressive 10 years. A well-known and hardworking member of the local community, Ian is thrilled to be this week’s winner.

When we surprised Ian to share the good news, he already had the perfect plan for how to spend his winnings. His father-in-law is turning 70 this August and the family has a special trip to Spain planned to celebrate. This week’s £2000 will help towards the holiday and pay for a memorable family meal out while they’re there.
