The Made in Bury Business Academy Patrons Club was launched in April 2023, providing, mentorship to the members of the Business Academy class of 2023.
Now 12 months on, Made in Bury Ltd along with this group of outstanding local businesses are about to take the Initiative to the next level.
Starting this September 2024 Made in Bury Ltd will also be offering interest free loans to Bury start-ups, via funds generated from their Weekly £2000 Draw, reaffirming their commitment to ‘Helping tomorrow’s businesses today’.
Headline Partners Connect Comms and Consilium Wealth Management along with 8 other Patrons are Bury’s answer to the Dragon’s, alongside their mentoring they will form the loan panel, ensuring that the funds go to help as many local start-up businesses as possible.

Debi and Phil, Managing Partners of Made in Bury Ltd, are focused on challenging these statistics by providing local startup businesses with a structured programme.
Through the Made in Bury Business Academy, Debi and Phil deliver the programme along with the assistance of local experienced business leaders, sharing their expertise and learnings.
Since its launch in 2016, 144 startups have come through the Academy with a clear cohesive Business Plan for the future and over 70% of them are still trading today, that’s over double the national statistics!
The next Academy course begins in September 2024 and businesses under 3 years old are invited to attend the free ‘Discovery Meeting’ taking place on Tuesday 11th June, 6pm – 7pm at Europa House, BusinessLodge, Bury, BL9 5BT. The meeting will outline the modules covered and more importantly you will hear from past and present Academy members, Patrons and Mentors.
