“Shooting Stars Football Academy was founded by Richard Law, an FA qualified coach, and former member of Manchester United and Blackburn Rovers academies. As a passionate coach and football fan, he was frustrated by the distinct lack of high quality coaching provided to Bury’s children both in schools and at local clubs. He felt that this was contributing to the latest generation’s lack of interest in sport and the ever worsening obesity epidemic and decided to set up a business committed to the elite coaching of kids from pre-school upwards in the local area.
Shooting Stars Football Academy was born!
We now provide coaching services to hundreds of children across Bury including working with local primary schools providing school and lunchtime clubs, PPA cover, PE provision, private one to one sessions, holiday camps, and our extremely popular pre-school classes for children as young as 18 months old.
As our business continues to expand, our mission statement remains at the heart of our business and all our coaches and partners. We all share the same passion to instill an unwavering confidence and belief in every child we coach and “create generation after generation of stars”.
