Turmeric has been used for thousands of years in herbal medicine as an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant, and the active ingredient within turmeric is called curcumin. Curcumin makes up roughly 3% of the turmeric root so we provide a capsule containing this raw ingredient to sell to our customers as an organic food supplement.
We began our curcumin journey 5 years ago when my husband was diagnosed with heart disease, he found that taking curcumin allowed him to live a more active lifestyle. We read about the multitude of benefits from curcumin including arthritis, IBS, acid reflux and joint pain. This was 3 years ago and ever since we have both taken curcumin and feel healthier than we have in a long time.
We had to search long and hard to find the right organic curcumin in the correct dose of 95% curcuminoids and with an organic black pepper extract, so we then decided to sell this and to pass on the many benefits to our customers.
