One Ticket, Two Wins: Bury’s Latest £2000 Winner Revealed

Today’s Weekly £2000 Draw winner is Nick Brown from Munro Greenhalgh Insurance Brokers, holding winning ticket number 20652.

This isn’t Nick’s first rodeo. Nick first won back in September 2024, making him one of our growing list of double winners. Even better, he’s not the only one at Munro Greenhalgh with that kind of luck. His colleague, Tracy Paterson, also joined the double winners club, having won in 2020 and again earlier this year.

Munro Greenhalgh are an Accredited Supporter of the Weekly £2000 Draw, holding 5 company tickets, with many of their team also getting involved individually. That kind of support is what keeps the draw thriving week after week.

Munro Greenhalgh Insurance Brokers is a well-established, independent insurance brokerage known for its personal, client-first approach. Supporting both businesses and individuals, they pride themselves on offering tailored advice rather than one-size-fits-all policies. With strong roots in the local community, their team combines industry expertise with a genuine commitment to looking after their clients, which is why so many of their staff also get involved in initiatives like the Weekly £2000 Draw.

Nick is currently away on holiday, so we weren’t able to do the usual surprise visit, but when we caught up with him, he was absolutely delighted. No dramatic cheque presentation this time, just a well-timed phone call and a very happy winner on the other end of it.

He’s already got plans for the prize money too. A lovely weekend away sounds like the perfect way to celebrate a second win.

Stories like this are exactly what the Weekly £2000 Draw is all about. Yes, there’s the excitement of winning, but it’s also about businesses like Munro Greenhalgh showing consistent support for the local community and helping to create opportunities for others along the way.

A huge thank you goes out to every single one of our ticket holders and Accredited Supporters. Every ticket makes a difference, and every week, you’re helping us support local businesses, start-ups and community initiatives right here in Bury.

Who knows… maybe you’re next.
