We’re absolutely thrilled to announce the lucky winner of this week’s Made In Bury Weekly £2000 Draw! A massive congratulations to Samantha!
Samantha has been a valued supporter of the Weekly £2000 Draw since July 2023, and her loyalty has certainly paid off in the most wonderful way.
Interestingly, Samantha’s journey with the Weekly £2000 Draw began when our very own Phil and Debi paid a surprise visit to her workplace, Cranswick Continental Foods, to celebrate another colleague’s win. It seems the winning atmosphere was contagious!
For those who don’t know, Cranswick Continental Foods have been a cornerstone of the UK food industry, “feeding the nation since 1975” with their authentically made and sustainably produced goods. Their dedication to quality, efficiency and innovation truly shines through in everything they do – much like our commitment to supporting local businesses here in Bury!
Unfortunately, we couldn’t pop down to surprise Samantha in person today as she’s currently enjoying the precious early months of maternity leave after welcoming her adorable son, Haris, into the world just five months ago. However, that didn’t stop Debi from delivering the fantastic news with a surprise phone call!
Samantha’s reaction was one of pure joy with a delighted squeal on the other end of the phone, followed by Samantha exclaiming that this was “the best news ever!”
We can only imagine the excitement and it seems fate might be playing a hand in Samantha’s win. In a lovely coincidence, Haris’ passport arrived in the post today! Samantha is taking this as a sign to book a cheeky getaway to somewhere sunny with her little man, perhaps even Turkey! What a fantastic way to celebrate and make some wonderful memories.
This win is another fantastic reminder of the incredible impact the Weekly £2000 Draw has on our local community. Not only does it give individuals the chance to win a life-changing sum of money, but it also directly supports local businesses through our initiatives.
