Today’s Weekly £2000 Draw winner is Rebecca Jayne Kay with ticket number 23623.
Rebecca joined the Weekly £2000 Draw back in August 2023 and this week was the lucky week which saw her ticket be pulled from the draw.
Rebecca is a Teaching Assistant at Sunny Bank Primary School and she has been part of the school community for an incredible 21 years! Over that time, she has worked across different year groups, supporting pupils and staff alike with dedication, care and a whole lot of heart. Long service like this doesn’t just happen – it’s built on commitment and genuine love for the job.
We visited Sunny Bank Primary School today to surprise Rebecca with the fantastic news that she was this week’s winner, and what a surprise it was. Rebecca was over the moon and when asked what she’ll be spending her winnings on, Rebecca told us that she’s planning to take her two sons on a little trip during the half term. This is the perfect chance to make memories, enjoy quality family time and to add a little sparkle to the school holidays.
During this surprise, we were fortunate enough to have another Weekly £2000 Draw winner in the school, Amanda Stubbs (pictured with Rebecca). Amanda won the Weekly £2000 Draw back in February 2025 – proof that lightning really can strike twice (even in the same school staff room!).
Sunny Bank Primary School is an accredited supporter of the Weekly £2000 Draw as the school and the staff hold at least 5 tickets to the draw. With 2 winners at Sunny Bank Primary School in the last 12 months, it seems that being an accredited supporter (and holding more tickets) really does increase your chances of winning.
Huge congratulations to Rebecca on her £2000 win. We hope you and the boys have an amazing half-term trip and make memories that last far longer than the school holidays.
han the school holidays.
