Nicola wears many hats at the Buchanan Sports and Social Club in Ramsbottom. She’s the first lady president, a bar worker and an active committee member. The club is a true hub of the community, offering entertainment, sports, snooker, pool, bowls, and even a fantastic function room. They also host a monthly community gathering, creating a real sense of togetherness for residents.

When we called Nicola to share the exciting news, she was completely lost for words and shaking with excitement! Nicola joined the draw after spotting one of our Facebook posts and decided to join in the fun… and we’re so glad she did!

As for how she plans to spend her winnings, Nicola told us she’ll definitely be treating herself, but she also has two teenagers and a husband who might be in line for a treat too! She mentioned that she’d love a spa day and the timing couldn’t be better with Christmas just around the corner.

In true community spirit, Nicola also shared that the Buchanan Sports and Social Club needs a new roof, and she’s planning to donate some of her winnings to support the club – what a lovely gesture!
