Today’s £2,000 winner is 86-year-old Kathleen Redford!

Ticket number 23956 has landed Kathleen a very welcome £2,000, but the story behind her winning ticket is even better.

Back in 2023, Kathleen bought her ticket to support her grandson Aaron Hughes from Under Pressure Cleaning, Valeting & Maintenance, after he took part in the Made in Bury Business Academy.

Aaron encouraged his family to get behind the draw, knowing that every ticket helps us support new start-up businesses through mentoring, training and interest-free loans.

And there are now 8 members of the family with tickets… with a rather incredible winning streak.

Aaron’s Gran, Cousin and now Nan have ALL won the £2,000 draw!

Debi gave Aaron a call to share the good news, and then let him have the absolute pleasure of telling his Nan herself.

Aaron takes Kathleen shopping every Wednesday, so we’re hoping today’s trip involves a little treat for herself… although we’re told a good chunk of her winnings will be going towards her great-grandchildren too.
