Made In Bury

Teacher scores full marks and wins £2,000!

This week’s lucky winner was Elizabeth Partington from Woodhey High School!

Woodhey High School is based in Holcombe Brook, Bury and strives to help each child work hard and achieve the best they can, preparing them for their future and making them into confident, successful individuals.

Elizabeth is an english teacher at Woodhey and has been for 5 years! We did a little plotting today with the headteacher, Mr Roadnight, so we could go and surprise her.

Mr Roadnight got the whole of the unsuspecting english department together and informed them a ‘visitor’ was here to visit, then in we went with the £2,000 cheque!

Elizabeth had no idea she was this week’s winner and was absolutely over the moon to have won. When asked, she said she would be spending the money on her son and daughter who have a number of trips coming up!
