We’re delighted to announce that this week’s lucky winner is David Carswell, with ticket number 23833.

David has been part of the draw since November 2023 and this week luck was truly on his side. We surprised him with the news that he has won £2000 on this week’s Weekly £2000 Draw. David was thrilled to hear the news, and he’s decided to split his winnings in two meaningful ways. £1,000 will be donated to Child Autism UK, a charity close to his heart that he’s previously supported by running marathons.

David has been taking on an incredible challenge. He is completing a series of six marathons around the world. With only one left to go, the Boston Marathon next April, this win couldn’t have come at a better time to keep him motivated for the final stretch!

The remaining £1,000 will go towards flying lessons, a well-earned treat for someone who clearly doesn’t shy away from a challenge both on the ground and in the air.

David is the owner of Carswells Fire Engineering (CFE), a Bolton-based business that’s already had a fantastic first year. With a growing team of 15, CFE is making great strides in the fire protection industry, specialising in the design, installation and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems for commercial and industrial buildings across the UK.
