Each year at the MIBBA’s, we always enjoy hosting an evening filled with entertainment for all of our distinguished guests. For the past four years, we have had the privilege of welcoming our guests to the drinks reception with musicians from Holy Cross College in Bury.  This year featured a String Quintet and these amazing musicians graced us with some beautiful and harmonious music. It was such a pleasant start to the evening and a special thank you to this wonderful ensemble:

We would also like to say a special thank you to Mr. A. Melia, a teacher of Music at Holy Cross College, for helping us organise this year’s ensemble.

Holy Cross College formed in 1979 and over the years, has been ranked in the top ten sixth forms in the country.

The Music department at Holy Cross takes pride in providing the students with excellent performance exposure. The students have the opportunity to perform not only as a soloist but in ensembles whether it be in the choir, a band or even the college opera.
